Do you want to be an MRRAR
Member or Supporter?
Members are part of MRRAR’s core group. They take part in meetings, help make decisions through voting, and contribute to planning and running activities.
Supporters stand alongside MRRAR, join in events, spread the word, and show encouragement, are welcome to attend meetings but aren’t involved in the decision-making side.
Members support the MRRAR objectives:

To raise community awareness about issues involving people seeking asylum and refugees.

To take action to achieve positive, humane change in asylum and refugee policies.

To contribute towards appropriate material and social assistance provided to people seeking asylum and refugees through approved organisations.

To participate in refugee-led actions and refugee support sector campaigns for humane and constructive refugee and immigration policies that meet Australia’s global commitments.
Members also:

Are required to register as a member and will be added to the Register of Members.

Have voting rights.

Can join subgroups.
